The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in and scramble through as well as we can. ~Robert Cushing
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Doubt, fear and worry have stolen way too many dreams. None of us has to live with these negative, limiting emotions. We do have the power to control them. However, many people allow their emotions to do the controlling.
I remember when my wife and I talked about having kids and starting a family. This was over 20 years ago. We discussed that it might be better to have everything in place first. We were worried that it wasn’t the right time. We did wait for a little while then we decided that if we waited for everything to be perfect we may never start our family. I am so glad that we didn’t wait. I don’t know if there was ever a perfect time where there wasn’t some sort of challenge we were facing.
Do your best not to make foolish decisions but sometimes we all need to take a leap of faith. If you can’t see exactly what the end looks like it does take faith to move forward. Prayerfully consider your actions and if that still small voice deep inside is leading you, the voice of God, then move forward. Don’t let doubt, fear or worry rob you of your dreams.
