The larger the island of knowledge, the longer the shoreline of wonder. ~Ralph W. Sockman

Job 40:9-10
Have you an arm like God?
Or can you thunder with a voice like His?
10 Then adorn yourself with majesty and splendor,
And array yourself with glory and beauty.

It is interesting that the more you learn, the more you know that you don’t know much. We may become an expert in a field but there is always more to learn.

It was once believed by some people that the world was flat. It is obvious now, it isn’t. It was once believed that we all evolved from a single cell. Now that single cell has been magnified to show the complexity of it. It was once thought impossible to talk on wireless phones. Now what would we do without them?

The good news is we can all keep learning and growing. Either we are moving forward or we are moving backwards. Nothing ever stays the same. If we ever think we know it all, we are heading for trouble. If we ever get puffed up and think we are all that, we are headed for disaster.

Remember this saying: “As long as you are green you are growing. If you become ripe, the next stage is rotten!”
