The most unprofitable item ever manufactured is an excuse. ~John Mason
But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’
Have you ever noticed that success doesn’t require excuses? Excuses hinder the person giving them. They might even believe them if they give them long enough.
We should all learn to take responsibility for our actions. Some things we do work out and some don’t. We should search for the reasons things didn’t work out and readjust our plans and take new actions.
We need to learn from failure, not make excuses for it. Ask yourself what you can do today to turn an issue into a stepping stone to success. Next, make a plan and take action. No excuses.
